The Mossberg 590S Shockwave brings versatile multi-load capability to the compact 12 gauge pump shotgun platform. This specialized 18.5″ barreled model chambers not only standard 2.75″ and 3″ shells but also smaller 1.75″ mini shells – with no adaptor required.
The 590S’s redesigned elevator, bolt, and recoil buffer allow seamless cycling between the different shotshell lengths in any combination you desire. Despite its diminutive size at just 30.75″ overall, the Shockwave still holds up to 9 rounds of 1.75″ mini shells or 5+1 rounds of 3″ magnums.
Other classic 590 features found on the Shockwave include dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, and Mossberg’s anti-jam elevator for absolute reliability. The top tang safety is ambidextrous for easy operation with either hand.
The matte-blued 18.5″ cylinder bore barrel provides compact maneuverability, while the Raptor pistol grip and strap forend enable solid retention and control. A clean-out tube and cap allow clearing of the magazine tube quickly.
