I've got 4 or 5 of these slim rear sights now and they're great. Solid, nothing to snag, and they stay zeroed. I've beat the older ones up in the woods and on the quad, tractor, cat, no issues. The only issue with these is if you try to remove one, better hope you didn't gorilla down the screw, I think it's got something to do with the type of finish but they lock up and don't want to back out at all. I no longer wrench them down like I used to because of this, and just rely on a small amount of loctite. The person who had a loose base was doing something wrong, if you don't have the capture piece on the nut side aligned properly it will tighten down and still be loose, back it off a turn and press it against the rail so it's aligned properly and tighten it again, the problem will be resolved.

Let me start out by saying UTG /Leapers is massively underrated. I love all their products, except this ONE item. I purchased one, and it was horribly crooked and wiggly, AT3 promptly sent me a replacement for the defective one. Unfortunately the second was just defective. Wiggly and out of alignment. As I said UTG/Leapers is an amazing company. Pretty much all my equipment is UTG. BUT, a wiggly sight isn't acceptable to me. I have 2 other A2 sights from other companies that do not wiggle in the slightest. I will continue to purchase UTG over other products, just not this one.

AT3 was helpful in handling this return, and very quick with the help. I have started buying some parts with them and I will continue to do so as well.
