My rifle barrel is bead blasted stainless. The stainless gas block from AT3 looks beautiful on the SS barrel as it is just exposed at the end of tubular fore grip. Adjustability is fantastic. I spent roughly five rounds getting the block dialed in to eject the shells at the three o’clock position per the very detailed instructions and associated pictorial graphic.
I am very pleased with the appearance and functionality of this gas block; a very worthwhile purchase.
But! I did notice the bcg ran cooler and wasn't as carboned up as before using a milspec gas block. I intend to move it over to my pistol build when I'm ready for it.
