The Phase 5 FATman Hex Brake solves the muzzle rise problem for competition shooters by using two oversized baffle chambers and 20-degree forward-angled top ports that keep your sights flat through rapid strings. This brake works well for 9mm PCC competition where split times matter, precision builds requiring maximum recoil reduction, and anyone wanting aggressive compensation without the noise of side ports. The first chamber wall sits tight to the barrel crown to preserve accuracy, while the dual baffle design creates serious gas redirection – bringing competition-level performance to your build with Phase 5’s signature hex styling.
Note: Brake adds approximately 1.35″ from barrel crown with crush washer installed. If pinning and welding to a 14.5″ barrel, verify total length from bolt face to brake end exceeds 16.000″ to remain non-NFA.

All parts should be installed by a licensed, experienced GUNSMITH. You must consider the importance of every aspect involved with a proper installation. Improperly installed components can cause malfunctions, weapon failures, serious injury, or even death. PHASE 5™ WILL NOT WARRANTY COMPONENTS DAMAGED BY CUSTOMERS DURING INSTALLATION. All Phase 5 WSI assemblies and components have a lifetime warranty against any manufacturing defects.

Return & Exchange Policy
