The Best Fix for an Overgassed AR – H2 Carbine Buffer Weight
This one-piece buffer weight with rubber head weighs in at 4.6 oz, and is ideal for improving recoil and cycling in overgassed ARs. Most often employed with short-barreled carbines 10.5 inches and under, and H2 buffer can tame harsh recoil impulse and slow cyclic rate for better control. This buffer can only be used in AR rifles with carbine-length buffer tubes – it should not be used in rifle-length buffer tubes.
For even better performance and recoil reduction, we recommend one of our traditional multi-weight heavy buffers. These buffers contain sliding weights made of tungsten and steel, which help to absorb the shock of your AR-15’s cycling.
