Magpul Industries Type 2 Half Slot M-LOK Rail Covers
If you’re looking for a way to customize and cover your handguard while maintaining a low profile, the M-LOK Type 2 Half Slot Rail Covers may be the perfect solution for you. These covers are designed to install directly onto most full and half-size M-LOK slots on aluminum handguards. The two-piece construction allows them to be used in conjunction with full-size M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers.
One of the great things about these Half Slot Rail Covers is that they are non-orientation specific, which means that you can mount them in any direction desired without affecting their function. This gives you even more freedom to customize your handguard to your liking. Additionally, the covers feature beveled contours that minimize potential snagging, as well as Magpul’s TSP texture that provides additional grip.
Each package of M-LOK Type 2 Half Slot Rail Covers includes six panels, with each panel covering half of an M-LOK slot. However, it’s important to note that these covers are not compatible with Magpul MOE® M-LOK, MOE SL®, and SGA® forends. They may also not be compatible with free-float handguards that have a wider and flatter profile, as they will not seat deep enough to allow the center portion to lock in.

If you ever experience an issue with a Magpul product at any time, regardless of where it was purchased, please contact us directly and we’ll do everything reasonable to help you.
To make a return, please take the following steps:
- BEFORE returning any products, please contact us first to receive an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) and prominently write it on the outside of the package. Packages will not be accepted without an RMA.
- Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone number and email, RMA number, and reason for the return (including, if applicable, information about the firearm, ammunition, and usage environment for defective returns). Do not send ammunition.
- Wrap the item with quality padding and place it in the original packaging or in an appropriate box for shipping.
- A UPS shipping label will be provided in your shipment. If using the original packaging, remove or cover the original shipping label. Tape the preprinted return shipping label to the outside of the box. Drop package at an official or authorized UPS drop-off location.
- All refunds will be applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. You should allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
