The cantilevered design solves rail space management by positioning the MRO forward while keeping rear rail area clear for backup sights, magnifiers, or other accessories. The medium height achieves 1/3 co-witness with standard AR iron sights, allowing backup sight use through the lower portion of the optic window. The cantilever also bridges receiver gaps on some rifle configurations where standard mounts might not have sufficient rail contact.
