This Rifle Barrel Thread Converter solves that issue and makes all 5/8×24 muzzle devices able to mount on 1/2×28 rifle barrels. This part simply screws onto your 5.56 or similar barrel and gives threads for muzzle devices and suppressors.

Installation
We recommend using Anti-Seize to keep the adapter installed after heavy use and if using a suppressor to use an alignment rod to check for alignment to lower the risk of baffle strikes.
