LOCKING ANTI-SLIDE PLATE
The HWK solves a problem that plagues most rails on the market – handguard sliding.
With our proprietary anti-slide plate that interfaces with a groove in the barrel nut, the HWK is locked to the upper – ensuring that it won’t go anywhere.
ANTI-ROTATION TABS
Forward sliding is a problem that’s solved with the anti-slide plate, but what about lateral rotation?
The HWK has built in anti-rotation tabs to prevent any kind of rotation.
By combining the anti-slide plate and anti-rotation tabs, the result is a rock solid fit – no matter how hard you run it.
LIGHTWEIGHT, INCREASED VENTILATION
Aggressive machining cuts throughout the rail serve 3 critical functions:
1) Significantly slash excess weight
2) Increase ventilation to cool both your handguard and barrel
3) Steep angles prevent fingers from sliding into grooves

Well, the blem was more than just the QD sling point not working. The forward most securing screw hole was effectively blown out. The thread side was fine, so I was still able to secure the hand guard, but the screw sticks through quite a bit. Looking for a short one to clean it up.

I have a 11.5 barrel and ordered the 13.5 FDE. Added an extended flash can and this thing rocks. Very easy to install and looks great. Anti-rotation arms could be a little thicker since there is some wobble with a PSA lower. Added a scope to the top pic rail and that locked it in. No more wobbles. Overall, it does add flare to the AR. Will order another one once my 300 upper arrives.
