BLEMISHED AT3™ Slick Side Upper | Billet Upper Receiver for AR-15

I purchased this blem upper. Everything is so out of spec it's unusable. Turned out to be an expensive piece of trash. Didn't fit the lower and the charging handle will not slide in. That is as far as I can go with it. Should of been scrapped.

Not sure why it was a blem, the upper receiver I bought was perfect. Excellent purchase.

Ordered one of these because they are awesome, of course. And the discount is nice. The blemishes were very, very minimal. However mine had some other issues, the cerakote made it so I wasn't able to fit the barrel in, that's an easy fix though. So once I adjusted for the barrel to fit in, the little gap at the top of the threads under the gas tube port was too wide for my barrel extension pin to fit securely. There was some wiggle room and looking into the throat of the chamber, you could see the ramps in the barrel chamber spinning as far as the barrel extension pin would allow it to move left or right. I'm still giving this 5 starts though because I emailed at3 customer support and in less than 12 hours I had a response offering to replace it. They only had black available and the new batch of cerakote were a couple weeks out so I figured I would go for a longshot and ask a question, I asked if they could do a store credit in place of the upper in case I ended up needing something else while I waited for the cerakote uppers to be back in stock. To my shock and pleasant surprise, I received an even faster response and was given an enthusiastic yes! I don't know how common that is in this type of merch but as far as I have experienced it has been very rare to get much help at all from customer service on other websites. So in less than 24 hrs, I have a store credit waiting for me as soon as they see I have shipped out the upper for return. Which I'm doing now. So all in all, at3 continues to do nothing but impress me with not only the quality if their products, but the quality of their customer service as well. I wouldn't discourage anyone from getting one of these, I would bet that the issue I experienced is quite rare. And if you do happen to have any issues with it, at3 will take care of you very promptly and see that you are satisfied. You guys rock, at3 team! Keep being awesome! You've got a lifelong customer here, that's for sure.

This "blem" receiver is in great shape. The only place I can see where it might be blemished at is the inside. No one is going to see that.. I ordered this with the full intention to cerakote it and I will eventually but for now this is what it looks like. Sold as blem appears if it had been assembled for inspection or testing. No visiable damage or major machining marks. One small scratch where charging handle latches. One scratch where charging handle slides on inside of receiver. Very nice very happy with it thank you! Will purchase again

The finish was absolutely horrible on both sides below the rail, and also on the main body flat sides. I was planning on applying Duracoat anyhow (but need to hit it with sandpaper) so it's not a huge issue. If you want a nice looking upper though, spend the extra 20 bucks for the real deal...

There’s the smallest scratch on the bottom of the lower can’t see when closed iv bought so much from this company never disappoints

have yet to find a blemish. Comes very well packed and fit my billet lower perfectly. Cane with he dust cover installed. Will certainly purchase again

Great deal on a good product

I picked up AT3's slick-side (billet) upper on a sale (blemished); the thing about it is, it shipped out same day and arrived about three days later, and there isn't even a scratch on it. I honestly cannot tell what the defect would have been. For an assembled upper receiver, you cannot beat this price. Great stuff!
