Compact AR-15 Pistol Barrel with Better Velocity for Range
When you’re choosing a short AR barrel, there’s question that needs to be answered: how much barrel length and velocity are you willing to sacrifice for shortening your gun? With this 12.3″ barrel from Ballistic Advantage, you’re still dropping around 4 inches of length compared to the standard carbine, while retaining enough barrel length to reach out to 350 yards effectively.
If you’re planning to run a suppressor on your build, consider what muzzle device is best-suited if you want quick detachment. All Performance Series Barrels feature a Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension. Hanson Series Barrels also include a lo-pro gas block and coil pin, ready for permanent and secure attachment. Aftermarket piston kits don’t work with these barrels – they are not compatible.
