Improve Your AR-15’s Recoil with a Flat Wire Buffer Spring
Made in the USA with cryo-treated 17-7 stainless steel, this flat wire recoil spring drops into your buffer tube to upgrade your recoil system. This spring dampens recoil when the gun is cycling, and increases the load on the rear of the bolt carrier to ensure reliable lockup into battery. This spring is sized for carbine buffer tubes, which is common for the vast majority of AR-15s with adjustable stocks.
Why is a flat wire spring better?
Traditional piano wire recoil springs tend to bind up and rattle inside the buffer tube. A flat wire spring not only minimizes noise, but also doesn’t bind. The flat steel flexes without coils getting bunched together while the gun is cycling. The compact size of each coil also allows more energy to be stored in the spring; this is what increases the force on the back of the BCG.

Backed by the AT3 Lifetime Warranty!
All AT3 Tactical Brand Products carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
This includes AT3 Red Dot Sights, Handguards, Iron Sights, and any other product that carries the “AT3 Tactical” or “AT3™” name. For other brands (ex. Magpul or Troy), please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
In the event that your AT3™ product becomes unusable, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you.
If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The warranty is fully transferable, but we may require information about the original purchase to validate the authenticity of the product.
