The AT3™ SPEAR XL M-LOK Handguard is Suppressor Ready, Light Weight, and Easy to Install!

This suppressor-ready handguard free floats the barrel for accuracy, and maintains accuracy even with a suppressor underneath the handguard. Mount lights, grips, even laser modules where you need them with M-LOK attachment slots and a full length top rail. All without compromising your rail’s real estate while you’re running a silencer.

With 12” and 15” lengths available, the SPEAR XL handguard is ideal for customizing your next AR-15 build or upgrading an existing rifle with a buried suppressor. If you’re starting from a stock rifle, make sure you purchase a Low Profile Gas Block with the handguard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my AR-15?

The SPEAR XL is designed for use with Forged Upper Receivers, our matching Billet Upper Receiver, and many other designs on the market. In most instances, it will also require the use of a low-profile gas block that fits underneath the rail. Piston systems may also be used, but check with the manufacturer first for exact dimensions.

This product will not work with non-milspec upper receivers like the Bushmaster Carbon due to the non-standard barrel threads.

Will this fit my Suppressor?

The SPEAR XL has a 1.74″ inside diameter, which will accommodate most suppressors for the AR-15. Typically, we recommend a 1.5″ diameter suppressor for use with this handguard, to ensure that the M-LOK slots are still able to be used surrounding the suppressor. Larger suppressors may have trouble fitting M-LOK accessories.

What tools and additional parts are required?

For parts – most setups will require a low-profile gas block.

For tools – we recommend:

• A vise and non-marring vise block for holding the upper
• A torque wrench to assure you stay in the AR-15 barrel nut torque range while timing the barrel nut (30-60 ft lbs)

NOTE: Due to the circular shape of the SPEAR XL handguard, the Magpul Gen 2 MBUS Iron Sights are not able to be activated. However, the Magpul Gen 3 MBUS and other iron sights will fit onto the SPEAR XL with no issue.
