AT3 Tactical AR-15 Cerakote Stripped Lower Receiver
The AT-15 is the AT3 Tactical take on the classic AR-15 lower receiver. This lower starts with a solid base of forged 7075-T6 aluminum construction. The same durable, lightweight material used from the beginning of the AR-15’s adoption as the M16 rifle ensures the AT-15 is as tough as they come. Plus, the AT-15 comes in a classic anodized black, and a full range of Cerakote colors that you can match with all your favorite colored parts from AT3 Tactical.
The AT-15 also features a deeper magwell flare than mil-spec lowers, making it easier to reload. This lower receiver serves as the perfect starting point for your next build. Add a lower parts kit of your choice, or piece together something that’s exactly to your specifications. The AT-15 will accept any part compatible with a mil-spec lower receiver. FAQ
Is this lower Mil-Spec?
The AT-15 uses 7075-T6 aluminum construction, and is availbale in a type 3 hardcoat anodized finish, which are mil-spec. The AT-15 also accepts all mil-spec AR-15 components. Most triggers, pistol grips, lower parts, buffer tubes, and upper receivers will have no issue fitting into this receiver. With the Cerakote options, the thickness of finish in some areas may make the fit a bit tighter.
What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is a ceramic paint and adheres to polymer and metal very well. Since the the lowers are painted, some wear marks may be seen on areas of heavy use. AT3 doesn’t warranty against Cerakote inconsistencies or the wearing of coatings. Our parts are Cerakoted using the official Cerakote colors.

Verified buyer Milspec to a tee, light weight, everything fits snug and the FDE color looks great. Giving 4 stars because the cerakote feels fragile. When I brought it to the engraver to put my trust name on it, the laser burned off a good portion of the coating surrounding the letters. Engraver felt bad about it and replaced my lower at their expense (got a free engraved lower out of it for another SBR! Woo!). When I brought back the replacement a couple weeks later, the laser settings were adjusted and it came out much better but still not perfect. When going to build, I tried to protect it as best I could with towels around finish and using brass/polymer hammer but still managed to ding it up in a couple spots tapping in my bolt catch and FA roll pins.
Could have just been a gun smith with an overpowered laser and my novice abilities but the laser had 2 attempts and I swear I was careful. This could just be true of all cerakoted parts as well so I cant say there's anything wrong with the AT3 cerakote. Just be careful when you're assembling! Other than that, great stripped lower (I got 2 of them!).
Side note to potential buyers: WATCH FOR SALES! I paid $[link removed] in March 2026 for both of FDE lowers, it's on sale now in April for $[link removed]!

Backed by the AT3 Lifetime Warranty!
All AT3 Tactical Brand Products carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
This includes AT3 Red Dot Sights, Handguards, Iron Sights, and any other product that carries the “AT3 Tactical” or “AT3™” name. For other brands (ex. Magpul or Troy), please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
In the event that your AT3™ product becomes unusable, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you.
If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The warranty is fully transferable, but we may require information about the original purchase to validate the authenticity of the product.
