This complete barrel kit delivers everything you need to build an ultra-compact dedicated 22LR upper for your AR-15. The 4.5-inch tapered barrel is purpose-built for the most compact PDW-style pistol builds, suppressor hosts, or backpack guns where every inch counts but you still want the affordable ammunition and low recoil of 22LR. This kit includes the barrel, a dedicated stainless steel 22LR bolt carrier group, and a 25-round Black Dog Machine magazine—everything you need except the upper receiver, handguard, and muzzle device.
The AT3 4.5-inch barrel is crafted from premium 4150 CrMoV steel per MIL-B-11595E specs with black nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance. The tapered profile keeps weight down while maintaining accuracy with 22LR ammunition, and the 1:16 twist rate is optimized for standard 22LR loads. Backed by the AT3 Lifetime Warranty!
All AT3 Tactical Brand Products carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
This includes AT3 Red Dot Sights, Handguards, Iron Sights, and any other product that carries the “AT3 Tactical” or “AT3™” name. For other brands (ex. Magpul or Troy), please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
In the event that your AT3™ product becomes unusable, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you.
If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The warranty is fully transferable, but we may require information about the original purchase to validate the authenticity of the product.
