This was not my first product from Armaspec, I have used various lower parts in several builds for years. The color of the parts was a subtle OD green. This one however has several issues:
1. The takedown pin was extremely tight in my Mega Arms lower. I believe this is due to the heavy color coating on the pin. After rotating the pin about fifty times it became functional.
2. The detent for the takedown pin would not engage when closed and was easy to disengage. I used as small drill bit to open up the top portion of the detent hole, now it engages the detent securely.
3. The trigger guard has sharp corners at the roll pin end which sticks out about 1/32". I radiused the corners to make it smooth, but that removed a bit of the finish.
4. Kit was missing the Torx wrench for the safety selector. Not a hug deal, I have spares.
5. The kit has no labels or diagram for the parts which are organized in the clamshell in an illogical way. If you're a first-time builder, you'll need to research where each part goes.
6. I haven't gotten to installing the safety/selector yet and will report on its fitment and function later.
