This Aero Precision M5 .308 Stripped Lower Receiver is the perfect part you need to build your AR-10 from the ground up. Designed with mil-spec AR-15 components in mind, with high quality fit and finish, the M5 ensures compatibility with a wide variety of components for your .308 build.
This lower receiver is perfectly designed to match the Aero Precision M5 .308 Assembled Upper Receiver as well as DPMS pattern components, including magazines and upper receivers.
Durable Construction & Reliable Design
The Aero Precision M5 .308 Stripped Lower Receiver features tough forged 7075-T6 Aluminum construction, and a standard matte black hard-coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 finish ensuring extreme resistance from wear and corrosion. Or, choose from a variety of Cerakote colors in Flat Dark Earth, OD Green, and Sniper Grey.
For best results, complete this lower receiver using the Aero Precision M5 Lower Parts Kit. This kit includes custom takedown and pivot pins as well as an extended magazine catch button. Available in Black and FDE.

- Works with standard AR 308 components and magazines
- Upper Tension Screw – Allows users to fine-tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver.
- Rear takedown pin detent hole threaded for a 4-40 set screw
- Bolt catch pocket threaded for included pin
- Integrated trigger guard
- Selector markings will work with 45, 60, or 90-degree safety selectors
- Accepts Battle Arms Development short throw safety selectors, but will work with any standard selector
- No gap with aftermarket pistol grips
