The Ideal BCG Upgrade For .308/7.62 Platforms
The Aero Precision .308/7.62 Bolt Carrier Group is the ideal upgrade from a Standard BCG to improve the overall performance and reliability on big-bore AR-10 platforms. Aero Precision offers this BCG in black nitride finish that reduces friction, minimizes the need for lubricants and cleaning, and provides excellent corrosion resistance for a lifetime of use.
The carrier is machined to fit AR .308 compatible style AR Uppers and Rifles and its multi-caliber bolt is designed to function with .308, 7.62×51, .338 Federal, and other .308 based cartridges.
Durable MPI-Tested Steel Construction
The Aero Precision .308/7.62 Bolt Carrier Group is constructed from a combination of 8620 Tool Steel (Carrier) and case-hardened 9310 Steel (Bolt) for extreme durability. It is then Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to ensure there are no hidden cracks or stress points. It also now includes a laser engraved ‘A’ logo for an additional Aero Precision classic look.

- Machined from 8620 Tool Steel (Carrier) and 9310 Steel (Bolt)
- Finish: Black Nitride – advanced lower friction coating that minimizes the need for lubricants and cleaning
- Gas Key: 4130 Steel attached with Grade 8 hardware and properly staked
- Firing Pin: Machined from 8740 steel and hard chrome coated
